Liliputing, the long-running site devoted to small and portable computing, has covered Aura Displays before. In May 2026, editor Brad Linder turned to our newest and most unusual product: the Single Flex Pro, a 13.3-inch OLED portable monitor that folds in half.
The hardware, as Liliputing saw it
The article ran through the key numbers: a 2048 x 1536 panel in a tall 3:4 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, up to 300 nits of brightness and 117% NTSC color coverage. For connections, it listed two USB-C ports and a mini HDMI port, and it noted a magnetic stand and a weight of about 1.57 lbs.
The headline feature is the fold itself. Closed, the screen takes up roughly half the footprint of a conventional 13.3-inch portable display, which is what makes it interesting for people who work from small bags or tight spaces.
For a commuter, a student or a consultant moving between client sites, that difference can decide whether a second screen comes along at all. It is the problem the Single Flex Pro was designed to solve.
An honest dose of skepticism
Liliputing was not fully sold. Brad questioned the use case, since a non-folding 13.3-inch portable monitor costs far less, and found the specs underwhelming for the price. He also observed that there is no built-in kickstand, and he flagged a confusing panel description in our launch materials, which is a fair catch.
We take that kind of feedback seriously. A first-generation foldable will not be for everyone, and the Single Flex Pro is aimed at people for whom bag space matters more than refresh rate or peak brightness.
Why we are sharing it
Liliputing readers are some of the most demanding mobile-computing enthusiasts out there. Being covered there, critiques included, tells us the foldable concept is worth the conversation.
